About the JEC
The Joint Elections Committee (JEC) is an independent body that administers student elections at the George Washington University. Elections are held during the spring semester and include the selection of officers for the Student Association, Marvin Center Governing Board, and Program Board.
The JEC is comprised of two appointees from the Student Association, one appointee from the Marvin Center Governing Board, one appointee from Program Board, and one joint appointee from the three organizations listed above.
The committee holds standing meetings in its office Wednesdays at 9 pm and Fridays at 4 pm.

The Committee Office should normally be staffed:
- Monday - 10 am to 6 pm
- Tuesday - 11 am to 6 pm
- Wednesday - 10 am to 6 pm
- Thursday - 11 am to 6 pm
- Friday - 1 pm to 6 pm
